German Fashion in Photos from the Collection of Randy McKeithan

Many thanks to Randy for his generosity in sharing his collection! Today I have a really lovely photo to show you of a young lady with a soldier and his motorcycle. Since this is not the place for military stuff, we are only going to focus on what the lady is wearing. The lady is wearing a V neckline dress that appears to have some sort of trimming on it. The dress also features short, puffed sleeves with a similar trimming that can be found on the neckline. The dress bodice appears to have buttons. I cannot tell if they are decorative or functional. She is also wearing an apron that covers a large portion of the skirt. What I love about her dress is the large floral print. These prints are not as common as solids or small prints so it's nice to have an example of the large floral in action. It offers some variety.

Let's talk about her accessories! She appears to be wearing sandals, and her large bag looks textured. At first thought I thought her bag was a reptile skin, but I am really not sure. On her wrist, there does appear to be a bracelet. When I zoomed in her look, she is also wearing a necklace.

Her hair is really well dressed and although her clothes are casual and would be fairly easy to recreate, her hair style may be another story. Her hair features some great waves and looks to be secured at the back the head and with a side parting. It looks like there is something going on at the top of her head too hair wise, but I am not totally sure. It could be a deliberate styling or a natural fall of the curls of hair.
