Reenactor Interview Series: Back to the Basics

 

Round two! This year I am doing another round of reenactor interviews but this time I am expanding the net to include more than just the ladies who do civilian. This year I would love to hear from civilian impressions from both men and women and also the uniformed impressions as well, men and women. This year the theme is all about getting back to the basics. How did you get started reenacting? What did you learn along the way that you wish you had known earlier? Got any good advice for those just getting started or else those who need the motivation to keep going?
